Torrini Italy 18K Gold Lapis Lazuli & Diamond Bypass Bangle circa 1960
Description
A bold and beautifully crafted example of mid-century Italian fine jewelry, this circa 1960 bypass bangle bracelet is signed Torrini Italy and stamped 18K, attesting to its exceptional provenance and quality. Torrini, the historic Florentine jeweler founded in 1369, is renowned for its masterful goldsmithing and enduring elegant design.
The bracelet features two substantial tubular lapis lazuli sections of deep, rich royal blue, each capped and accented with pavé-set round brilliant-cut diamonds in white gold settings. A total of 1.30 carats of diamonds, graded G-H color and VS clarity, provide brilliant contrast against the vivid lapis. The interior shank is polished 18-karat yellow gold with a hinged opening for ease of wear. Condition very good. A signed, collectible piece of Italian jewelry history.
