Art Deco 3.00 carat Old European Cut Diamond & Emerald Ring
Description
A masterwork of Art Deco design, this circa 1925 platinum ring centers a 3.00-carat old European cut diamond measuring 8.80 x 8.80 x 4.80mm, graded I-J color and SI1 clarity. The stone is set within a milgrain-edged octagonal bezel, one of the most iconic geometric forms of the Art Deco period, surrounded by a diamond halo of old European and single cut diamonds. Two triangular calibré cut emeralds flank the center stone, providing a vivid pop of color that is quintessentially Deco in its graphic contrast.
The pierced and engraved platinum mounting features additional diamond accents on the shoulders, demonstrating the exceptional handcraft of early 20th century American fine jewelry. Equally at home as an engagement ring, anniversary ring, or right-hand statement piece. Condition very good. A fully wearable, period correct Art Deco platinum ring of significant presence.
